I recently had the chance to tour MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), and I was blown away by the campus location in Cambridge along the Charles River, and the vibrant, innovative student body. I happened to be there on a crisp, fall day and the sailing team was out on the river practicing. Students were out and about and there was a great deal of liveliness on campus. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend going to the MIT Museum. Lose yourself for hours learning about all the amazing discoveries and inventions made by MIT students, alumni, and faculty. You will leave truly inspired. MIT doesn’t need much of an introduction, as its academic record, especially in STEM fields, really speaks for itself. But students also know how to cut loose and have fun on campus and in the vibrant areas of Boston around it.
